About the role
As a Test Engineer HVL at KEMA Labs, your main responsibilities will include:
- Perform testing on high voltage components for Grid operators and owners, Financiers, Suppliers from the energy sector. You will be working with voltages from 10.000 to 550.000 volts
- Monitor technical and project progress during the testing phase
- Perform type testing on, among others: Cables, Transformers, Insulators, Switchgear.
As a Test Engineer HVL, you will be responsible for Preparation of a full test report upon completion of the test, work closely with colleagues, and be the primary point of contact for customers. What you bring
Among all your other talents, your key knowledge and experience is:
- An Electrical Engineering degree, preferably with a major in Energy Engineering at BSc or MSc level.
- Good written and verbal command of Dutch and English is requested, because their customers are often present during the execution of tests.
- A combination of persistence, empathy, and excellent human relations skills for extensive contact with customers and the method of working.
